Kane’s Victory A Likely Blow To Her Cookie-baking Abilities

(HARRISBURG) – Attorney General-elect Kathleen Kane, the first Democrat and first female to be elected to that post in Pennsylvania, will likely have much less time to spend in the kitchen baking cookies come January, aides said.

The concerns about whether Kane will be able to uphold her womanly duties do not end there.

While many women have been busy applauding Kane, others – including stay-at-home moms – have openly worried that the attorney general position will adversely affect her ability to clean her house, ensure a hot meal is on the table each night for her husband, Chris, and serve as primary caregiver to her two sons, Christopher and Zach.

“In many ways, it’s a step forward for women but also several steps backward,” said a silver-haired white male who asked to be identified only as the governor of Pennsylvania. “It’s nice that her husband gave her the money to run for office, but when will she find the time to knit?”
